Idaho Falls Parade of Homes: What to Know and Odyssey's 2026 Entry

The Idaho Falls Parade of Homes is the one stretch each year when local builders open new homes to the public, and thousands of people walk through them. It's the easiest way to compare builders side by side: same weekend, same town, real homes instead of photos.

• Weekend one: September 17–19, 2026
• Weekend two: September 24–26, 2026

Odyssey's 2026 entry: the Oak Haven in Granite Creek

Our 2026 Parade home is the Oak Haven at 2735 Granite Falls Drive, Ammon, Idaho 83406, in the Granite Creek community.

What stands out

• A sunroom. The first time we've built a true sunroom into one of our plans. It has light on three sides and is usable on Eastern Idaho days that are too windy or cold to sit outside.
• The owner's suite. Upstairs, with a vaulted ceiling crossed by real wood beams and a spa-style bath.
• A main-floor office for whoever works from home, and a covered back patio off the great room.
• An open main floor. Kitchen, dining and great room are open to each other, so you see straight through to the back patio from the front door.
• A finished basement with a dedicated gym, plus a living room, bedrooms and a full bath.

Getting the most out of a Parade of Homes

• Ask what's standard and what's upgraded. Parade homes are dressed to show. Ask each builder which finishes come at the base price. Here is what's standard in an Odyssey home.
• Ask for a real price. Ask what the home you're standing in sells for, and what the same plan would cost on a different lot.
• Ask about timing. How long from contract to keys, and are there homes already under construction? Ours typically take 6 to 9 months.
• Look past the furniture. Check room sizes, storage, sightlines and how the floor plan flows. Those are the things you can't change later.
